After the granny's event 2008 in Haarlem we met granny's who ride there bikes already for a long time, some of them for a short time, but mostly alone or not at all. Why? Simply because there are no women around who have the same age or interrest.
For women there are not so manny rides and events.They can choose between a ride with manny male bikers or no ride at all

But beside that these "Old women" look like young healty biker no helpless Granny with a carrier! That is after this granny's event a story book that belongs in the land of fabels !
Our granny's came to Haarlem with bad weather. without a a moan. Something that some of us male colege would not do! No, these able-bodied female riders came with there motorcycles, not mopets.
On of them even fel down and picked her bike up to continue her way. this lady came all the way from "Sneek" Friesland! Trough the rain !

Because of this experience with these biker lady's we came to this idear to start a club within our club. They can find each other annd exchange their experience and organize rids and events. They will surely fit in our team for the next granny's event of next year!

Also we have made a special forum for them, we hope they will join. Not that they need a spercial place in our club, but we reconized there needs and that is what we have partisipate.
The benifit is that they are orgenized and we can put them on our mailing list for rides and so on.
